I went to the Redbull Soundclash show last night featuring The Foreign Exchange, it was a battle of the bands..and it was awesome!!

MILAN WEARS TARGET QUEEN JEWELRY!!!

I came across a blog called "A girl can Mac" last year, a fashion, beauty, makeup how-to, and natural hair spot all rolled into one...I really love reading about all Milan's interest and seeing her different looks, I was especially excited about her transitioning to natural hair!.recently she began a series to focus on accessories and I jumped dead on it ...I was so happy that she wanted to feature my jewelry and even happier when she bought one of my best sellers...the MAKEBA earrings.

and she even rocked them on the Wendy Williams show!!

I GAVE MY BEDROOM A MAKEOVER...ITS A WORK IN PROGRESS...

I dont have before pics..trust me it was a HOT ASS MESS!!
My wonderful boyfriend bought me a fantastic desk/workstation, I needed on BAD...and he bought me a very nice chair..Im so happy with this this desk, it was less than $200..thank you baby!

I went to Target of course and bought new curtains, blankets, pillows and stuff..
I still want to buy a nice chair for the corner, probably red, and more art to go over the bed but im very happy with it so far.

GROW HAIR GROW....

This was taken about 2 years ago...If I wouldnt have chopped it off again..imagine how long it would be now!
I have a habit of shaving my head every two years...i'll try not to do it any more, but I get soooo bored ..





a few months later..like clockwork...I shave it all off and start over..ive done this several times over the past 2 years..

As you know I contributed one of my paintings to a wonderful organization called Works of Heart I went to the auction last night and it was fantastic!..I met so many wonderful artist and art lovers..all there to give to the cause.


As soon as I got there I found where they hung my art and saw a couple standing in front of it, they happen to be who bid on and won my artwork, it was an honor to meet them and I hope they get in touch with me, I'd love to know how it looks in their home.

OH MY GOD!...MATTHEW LARKIN CASSELL HAS NEW MUSIC YA'LL!!!

Well, well, well....people take a 30 year hiatus and just come back with ridiculously good music...
I've posted several times about Matthew Larkin Cassell, he is the genius behind THIS!...




AND THIS RIGHT HERE!...




When I first heard this music I thought it was a brother..after MUCH research I found 3 or 4 whole pictures of this guy on the internet, and not much else..i'm the queen of obscurity and this was right up my damn alley.
After posting about Matthew I got an email from him to my shock and delight and he actually sent me some albums...not mp3's but actual vinyl..OMG..im gonna let you read about that HERE .


To top it all off Matt tells me he is in the studio, recording new music and I'm dying to hear it....well here it is...
The name of the album is "FIVE" and i've got a link to 2 songs of this album "Like you" and "On a world- go-round", I love this music, I love these songs...I cannot wait to hear the whole album..if you like soul music, if you like jazz...if you like excellent music PLEASE go to his website, and check out the 2 free downloads i've got ready for you right here!..Go to itunes and listen to Matt's earlier music, it's all there..trust Target queen and let me know what you think!!!!
